The ONLY complainers are those who will not pay on time and then come here to cry, whine and stomp their feet because they just can't stand the consequences THEY BROUGHT UPON THEMSELVES! They come here to blame everybody and everything else except THEMSELVES!

Really dumb and stupid, right? That's the case with all these subprime companies!

In February I paid my car note of $396.14 thru April28th 2023. Then on April 28th I didn't have a bill due but I called in and made a phone payment of $792.28 which was 2 car payments that covered May 2023, and June 2023 payment.

Then they mailed me out a a statement in May informing me that my car note payment for June was amount due for June 28th 2023 $00.00 clarifying that Mt June payment was already paid and th as t I didn't owe anything for June. Then on June 10th they sent me out another statement implying that the amount due was $ 28.64

Late fees: $00.00

Other fees: $00.00

Current payment Due:$396.14

Amount Due: $424.78

Now my car note is $39_.14 every month on the 28th and after February I paid my car a r note up to April 2023 Then in April I called in April 's payment but instead of paying $396.14 I paid 2 car payments for May & June amounting to $792.28. And now they're trying to tell me that I didn't pay June's car payment when they sent me out a statement say that for June 28th my amount due was $00.00. I don't think they're going to send me out a statement saying that amount due is $00.00 if I really owe for June and did not have June paid for!!!

I am very passed off about this because the agent that I spoke to about it answers just wasn't adding up.what was I charged $28.64 for?

Since I brought the car my car notes have not been late so I shouldn't have any late charges plus the statement noted that there were $0].00 late fees, and $00.00 other fees. So how did my payment get to be $424.78 for June when it's already been paid? If you can finance a car without going through American Credit Acceptance please do so and save yourself the hassle, trouble, and the headache!!

Please be careful with them because they pry on people with low credit scores. And Equifax,Transunion, Credit Karma, and Experion all know that American Credit Acceptance is a no good finance company!!!

Over Charging For Payments

I've had my car since 2021 when I called them today they said I was behind for july, August, September payments which I paid in full they have stolen money from me before and acting like I didn't pay them

How would I contact someone about issues Im having with them? Basically I got very sick with Covid and pneumonia and then bronchitis and a sinus infection back to back and lost my job.

Ive been using my child tax credit though and making sure my payment get paid even if its a little late. Well I have been signing into the portal and making payments which show car payment fees and then total amount due. So naturally, like every other car loan company Ive ever dealt with, I paid the total amount due assuming it would cover the late fees also. Because you know, it showed the LATE FEES and the car payment then TOTAL AMOUNT DUE.

I kept wondering why my car payment was so low but I assumed with what I saw on the screen I was paying everything up to date. Well come to find out, I have been paying OVER the amount I owed on my monthly payment and none of it goes to the late fees. So they have been taking extra money towards my car payment monthly meanwhile my late fees have been accumulating because apparently you have to contact one department to pay your car payment and a whole different department to pay the late fees.(Literally never heard of this in my life let alone did ANY of their agents inform me of this while paying payments monthly. THEN when I FINALLY get told about this ridiculous system they have, the lady argues with me and says Mam your not getting money stolen from you because the late fees go to the end of your loan they do not affect you nor will you lose your car because of them.

As I try to explain to her that not only have I been paying EXTRA(nearly $100 extra) monthly on my payment because I thought it was also paying off late fees, NOW I also have this accumulation of late fees that will be tacked onto my loan aka more money I will have to pay interest on. Finally I got done arguing with her and her going in circles and telling me I wasnt listening to her, so I told her Mam Im not arguing with you, you and I both know this is wrong and that you are misleading your customers and giving out false information, but thats fine now I know and I can correct the problem FINALLY. Not once was I offered any waived fees or given a good answer to why this was happening other than oh its in the contract. What person checks their contract every time they got a late fee tacked on and what company has anyone ever dealt with that you have to contact a WHOLE DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT to pay a monthly late fee(not even in collections.) and then them justify it by saying its okay the late fee goes on to the end of your loan.

I already have a high interest rate but ALSO was never informed on a DIR. I am so upset and feel like they have been stealing my money. I have never gone more than a week late and ALWAYS make sure I pay my payments at all cost, even if they have been a little late considering everything going on. These people have horrible reviews and now I see why!

Stealing peoples money and then making lame excuses when they dont even explain on their customer portal that you have to contact a whole different department to pay these late fees, even though they add the late fees into your total amount due today on the portal. This should be illegal.

False information! Someone help!

Very same remedy, Einstein. If you don't want late fees then make on time payments which is what YOU agreed to do in the first place! The ONLY reason you were place with this subprime lender is because YOU have a history of NOT paying bills on time and guess what...you are STILL not paying bills on time!

No they are suppose to be taking late fees out of your payment. It's on the back of their bill that states how your payments are applied.

Online payment

I attempted to pay my bill for this month on August 15 but I received a message saying it bounced. I have more than enough money to pay for the payment but it didn't go through for some reason. I am out of the country until September, so that might be the problem. My payment is now due today so I went to go pay and the customer portal is down. I tried calling too and that didn't work, I'm assuming because I'm out of the country. I'm not sure what to do because I'm trying to make the payment on time. What do I do?

I have a old refund that i was not aware of because the lot went out of business. The st treasury has the check and ACC is not assisting in providing information to clarify this a Supervisor was suppose to call me back and has not in three weeks.

I've had Covid twice this year and now getting over pneumonia. That means I've lost out on some income this year. I've never used payment deferment with this company and now that I need it, it's not available. It's now the holiday season. I will never use this company again!! Got Covid again 12/29/21 they've been blowing up my phone because I'm late with payment. Wouldn't be late if they have deferred my payment but no these people will not help you. This is my 3rd vehicle to purchase through them and I will not go with them again. In times of this pandemic they need to be understanding but no they don't care about you.

This is Benny with an update. Finally got approval for extension But guess what the second text with the esignature paperwork never comes.

I've called 3 times for this crap.

I've kept a timeline and all correspondence. I'm done with them!!!!

The company never contacted me.I had the car towed!

My brother passed away Feb. 13, 2021, your company was notified immediately.All information was sent to you( death certificate ) It has been 8 months and many calls to have the car removed from my property. Every time it's the same thing we have expedited this case . Today again I was told the case was expedited, and the car would be removed in approximately 60 days. I told her I can't wait that long, they had already had 8 months to resolve this I told her if not removed by next Friday I was going to have it towed as an abandoned vehicle and asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for over 20 minutes, when the girl came back on she said he was busy and hung up on me. There is no other phone number I can find for your company to take this matter further up the chain. I am hoping you can resolve this in a quick and efficient manner. Sincerely Rickie Clawson

New purchase at carmax

I was told that you all accepted Uber as an income. Then later was told you all didnt. I use a different vehicle for Uber and not the one I was purchasing. I am an Army disabled veteran and had a good down payment. I dont think carmax asked you all the question.

Mess up on credit report

We have numerous time have call this company since 2/21/19 about our account which they take us off auto-pay try repossess our vehicle knowing we don't authorized this. The company don"t call or email or text or send a letter in the mail saying payment not been made .So they decide try repossess our vehicle saying we were 4 month late take in mind this supposed to be in auto-pay we should not had to worried about this .

At this time my husband was taking care of his mom before she pass away in Jan 2019 and I was working about 70 hour a week.We don't have time to look at our bank account.again the payment should be coming out of our account All we asked is to remove all late payment and repossess off the credit report this stop us to get our loan on home.
